Despite how much I suffered making my last isat au Aris sprite redraw, I decided to do it again and once again went through hell doing it. There’s like a billion mistakes in this (such as her having the wrong arm rip) but at the end of the day I’m still happy with how it turned out :]
#keese draws#oc#oc art#eternal gales#isat#in stars and time#sorry for main tagging feel free to excecute me if you want or whatever#grips sink cringe is dead cringe is dead cringe is dead#anyways this is a very fuzzy and vague au as I don’t rly feel comfortable going off too hard with this one#this is pretty much entirely because I know I’d have to fuck around with the worldbuilding a decent amount and I don’t rly wanna do that#Isat’s worldbuilding is one of my favorite parts of isat so I don’t wanna fuck it up yknow?#I might do some other sprite redraws once I stop thinking too hard abt aris and tali#for context tali is the king aka complicated design that makes me wanna cry especially since I made it worse by changing her imagery#instead of having tears as a thing she has like. fracturing if that makes sense?#it’s supposed to be a nod to her ‘cracked’ eye in canon#she also has threads coming from her limbs instead of long hair for similar reasons#also she doesn’t have straight hair so yknow#but yeah for additional context aris and tali are half sisters and they make me go insane#in this au the idea would be that when their grandparents divorced when the two were little tali and their grandma left the island#aris wouldn’t leave until five or so years later when she was around 12#at which point the island disappeared and all that#the two have mostly completely forgotten about eachother but there still is familiarity between them#tali isn’t any less of a piece of shit than the king in this au tho#aris for a brief moment almost remembers who tali is during act 3 but she dies before she can fully grasp it#which almost hurts more to her despite not even knowing what she was trying to recall#during act 5 her inner sadness fight is against the hazy image of a very young tali 👍#just tiny 5 year old tali using the voices of the others to scream at aris that she’s been nothing but a burden to them all#and that she’s done nothing but hurt them in her selfish attempts to fix a problem that she refuses to admit she caused#and that time and time again she’s lied that she’s doing her best to protect them and that she’s failed all of them#it’s a mix of current guilt and her hazy but longstanding guilt towards tali

had a really funny idea for an ask blog ft. Vanny and another plex employee oc,,
#Get this right. 2 pizzaplex employees accidentally get tumblr famous bc someone has been leaving weird graffiti everywhere and#Getting up to other shenanigans and sends asks abt it to this one like urban exploration blog. Who later gets an ask basically like#Hey I work at the plex?? This is some insider info only another employee would know????#The two anons are constantly back and forth in this persons inbox and are eventually assigned nicknames#‘Pix’ for the mystery vandalism employee because she shows up as nothing but weird pixels and glitches on cameras#The other employee is ‘Cam’ because they have been monitoring all this on the cameras#One day they get each others blogs and keep sending each other death threats and shit jokingly but one day pix warns cam not to go to a#Weird late staff meeting#The next night it is literally just the two of them and they think this is so funny they start a blog trying to uncover why everyone else#Just isn’t coming in. At first they are like well layoffs duhhhh#But then ppl send asks and messages like ‘hey have u seen this employee it’s my brother/friend/etc’ and they realize shit is actually going#On in here#One night cam is live-blogging their shift and sees a weird intruder in a costume with a knife and runs around eventually escaping and find#Pix lying at the bottom of a stairwell unconscious with a bloody nose later#Takes pix to the hospital. Only to be alone in the plex the next night and suddenly get a phone call saying that pix left the hospital. Bc#Pix left cam as the emergency contact because ‘she didn’t have anyone else’.#Cam has to survive the masked intruder#eventually starts recording everything but when the intruder gets closer the footage gets glitchier#Eventually there’s just one fuzzy image of the intruder with Roxy and Monty standing on either side and that’s the last we hear of cam. Nex#Post is pix saying hehe thanks for following our little story aha !! Bye now it’s over!! Himman and Summiya#the latter of whom just happens to be Zaheer’s older sister#but he ran away from home years before these two were born so he most likely isn’t even aware of their existence#I mean. I’m sure he suspects his sisters had children. but that’s the extent of what he knows#anyway#quite a few headcanons came to mind as I was drawing so I’m gonna type them out while I can still function#(haven’t slept for two nights in a row. I’m starting to doubt whether I’m actually alive or not)#Liba is older by about a year but once they grow up a little it’s barely noticeable and people assume they’re twins#over time they stop bothering to correct them because really. they’re so close they might as well be#they were both burn with port wine stain birthmarks on their faces. much to their mother’s dismay#she has a whole perfectionism complex and needed her children to reflect that to maintain the family image#thus they were taught how to hide the marks early on. but the powder makes them constantly sneeze#liba is very self conscious about it bc of what her mother put in her head. Abyan less so bc while he’s expected to be perfect#his future doesn’t depend on his looks. he always tries to comfort his sister whenever she spirals too deep. no matter that she’s older#when no one is around to hear he calls her Lili <3 it annoyed her at first so she dubbed him Yanyan in retaliation#but over time they both grew to love the nicknames and now use them unironically#they’re the ultimate partners in crime. their goal? gaining as much freedom from their mother as possible#and sooner or later they will manage to do so permanently. which will make Summiya fall apart. but that is currently Kat’s domain#speaking of. hi Kat. I know you’ve already seen this in pencil but look! I coloured them!!#the birthmarks were both kinda annoying and rather fun to do. maybe I’ll change them later. I was too tired to look at refs so I improvised#and there’s no detail in clothing since again. 0 energy whatsoever. but once I refine their full body designs I shall go all out#that reminds me I need to go collect my new sketchbook. might do it on the way home from the store#okay I’m getting distracted. is this my very unsubtle way of trying to influence Kat to write that Summiya fic?#maybe. maybe not. you can’t prove anything 😁

Going back to replay IW for lore purposes is always an experience because each time I pick up something new 😭
#I’m trying to get more Barracuda lore before wrapping up writing Leo’s lore#I do wanna make him a model too actually but.. I don’t know if all of the assest will fit😭#I will say and I think about it often I LOVE the diversity in IW#it’s refreshing seeing not only black people but also latinx as well#it’s refreshing seeing not only black people but also latinx as well which I’m happy to see😭#of course it’s a big improvement… I think about that girl from Y3 all the time… my jaw still drops thinking about it#but also with Leo I want to really dive into his character especially with him being afro latino indivisual with struggles much like Enya#I want to make them polar opposites as siblings like Enya being more vulnerable and bubbly and Leo being closed off and guarded#also there will be ties to him having issues with the Liumang.. which I will get into later🌚#Zhao and Enya will actually have some relationship issues this time around(kinda) but it’ll make sense once I type it up#Enya’s lore isn’t going to be just tied to Zhao this time around but more so about Enya learning more about her bio parents and identity#Leo will be the bridge that fills the gaps :’)#I noticed way before I finished IW and drafted out her lore she REALLY mirrors Ichiban by accident😭#instead rather than Ebina and Ichi not interacting Leo and Enya will#also going to flesh out and image of both her bio parents :’)#there will be lots of lore for Leo and Enya’s mom:’)

I don’t think ‘Shego comes out to her brothers and Hego is homophobic about it’ is very interesting however ‘Shego comes out to her brothers and Hego isn’t exactly homophobic about it but does insist that she absolutely cannot come out publicly as a member of Team Go because it’s 1990-something and it would damage the view of them as family friendly heroes only interested in saving the city and while not exactly something that isn’t worth taking into consideration, it does serve to widen the rift that leads to Shego leaving the team because she sees it as Hego caring more about the team and their image than actually caring about them as his brothers and sister’ is something you could do something with but I don’t feel qualified to write it

#not Betty trying to play homemaker in an underground bunker#I remember she stressed when Glenn got kidnapped right after their honeymoon that she never even got to cook a meal for him#this here is coming after Betty divorced Glenn and then left the book for a while which was purportedly to learn independence#and she has shown a bit of firmness since then like when she was blunt with Glenn#but she’s still fully on board with Bruce’s fantasy where he’s a successful scientist and she’s his housewife raising his kids#so she's really just substituted Bruce for Glenn in her life plans who she initially was substituting for Bruce#the image of her trying to make this underground bunker a nice place to life#and then going through Bruce’s books and gushing about him is so striking to me#like girl this fantasy isn’t salvageable#there’s no way this path leads to contentment#soon after this the narration describes that she understands that#‘as long as the Hulk exists her love for Bruce Banner will be an endless exercise in despair’#but idk I don’t think that if Bruce was really cured or even if he was never turned into the Hulk in the first place#that that would suddenly make everything work out for them#idk it’s weird because they weren’t like together together before the accident#so their relationship without the complication of the Hulk was never depicted#but I’m not convinced being his housewife would have actually been satisfactory for Betty in the long run#like... it just can't be#marvel#bruce banner#betty ross#my posts#comic panels
